The short version: nothing here tracks you, and you're welcome to share what you find with credit, just not to make money from it.
Privacy
What isn't collected
There are no accounts or logins. No cookies are set, and there are no ads, ad trackers or data brokers. Nothing about you is sold, because nothing about you is kept.
The games and maps
They run in your browser. Your picks, filters and scores aren't sent anywhere. A few of them save progress (a daily streak, say) in your browser's local storage, on your own device. Clearing your browser data erases it.

Sharing what's here
The writing, charts, maps and graphics on Data Mixtape are free to share and adapt for non-commercial purposes, as long as you credit Data Mixtape and link back to the page you used. This follows the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 license. No need to ask first. A credit line like this works:

You can't sell, license or otherwise make money from anything here, or use it in advertising, without written permission. If you have something in mind, ask.
Other people's data and images
Some tools are built on data and images that belong to others. Those aren't mine to license, and the terms above don't cover them.

Everything here is provided as-is, for information and fun. The numbers are checked, but errors happen. Don't rely on them for financial, legal or betting decisions. If you find a mistake, let me know.
